Summary of the speech by FSPISH Secretary General Mr. Taf Koleci at the Balkan Workers’ Movement Meeting “Social Dialogue between Trade Unions” held in Izmir, Turkey

Thanking you for the invitation for our participation in this important event of the Balkan region’s labor movement, I would like to emphasize first of all the importance that the event takes for its organization at a time and in a very worrying situation not only for the Islamic world , but for all the peoples of the world who are more exposed than terrorism and xenophobia, without excluding here the poverty that is already present and endangers all peoples of the globe. The culture of interfaith dialogue and understanding has been and remains for us Albanians a very valuable resource on which were born and built the cultures of social and cultural emancipation and social dialogue as the most powerful part of civil dialogue. Our trade union has consistently worked to keep the social dialogue moving and moving from conflict to dialogue on negotiating tables. We have always known to maintain the balance between the use of force and democratic resistance through the dialogue and consultation dialogue on the working tables. Co-operation and coordination of activities with other trade unions in Albania and abroad has been a success for the work and activity of the trade union industry. Our union guarantees all the participants in this event, that it will continue to be active and cooperative, guaranteeing a regional and global national unity and solidarity, as we all work together and fight for only one purpose: “For the successful realization of a the most effective collective protection of all employees of the industrial system “.
