Executive Committee meeting of industriALL European Union, on 12-13 June, Sophie, Bulgary

 On 12 and 13 June,was held in Sofie, Bulgaria the meeting of the Executive Committee of the European Industrial union IndustriALL , in which FSPISH has been affiliated for many years. In that meeting of the Executive Committee discussed further steps and campaigns that are underway on important issues in the world of work and the theme of every discussion on “the rights of employees”. Very important issues such as inequality in the workplace, the gap in the page, the right and proper transition for the workers of the EU and candidate countries, such as Albania, as a result of digitalization and technology. In the meeting were discussed concrete actions and opportune solutions for employees who are affected. Also, at the meeting was discussed about Collective Contracting as a single solution to protect employees in each company. For this reason, a Collective Bargaining Conference was drafted during 2018. FSPISH presented to the participants the actual issues currently facing, such as the Miner Status, the problems in the oil sector (where the case continues) and other issues such as is safety and health at work in the extractive sector. The meeting closed with the introduction of a new campaign by the European and World Trade Unions on the topic of “convergence of pages”.
