In all our industrial sectors, the 2-week Mobilization campaign for a Fair Transition begins. Technological advancement and digitalization are already a fact and are present in all industrial enterprises, thus leading to redundant manpower. On the other hand, awareness of climate change and the need for decabornization by 2050 are the two main causes of the disappearance of many jobs. Of course we as FSPISH strongly support the objective of climate neutrality, but aiming and demanding that the transition be as smooth as possible for the affected employees. Training and retraining is the key element in adapting to new jobs. “Let no one be left out”, is the slogan that accompanies the demand for a Just Transition, stating that the achievement of a Just Transition, is achieved only with the voice of industry workers.
